Hotel Information

If your accommodation will be payed by the Conference, the Conference will make the booking and inform you in which hotel you will stay.

If you are going to pay for your accommodation and you want to stay in one of the hotels we suggest, you have to email or phone to the corresponding contact in each hotel to make your reservation and say that you are going to participate in the event: Brazil - Mexico, 3rd Meeting on Singularities August 7 - 11, 2017 Instituto de Matemáticas, UNAM, Unidad Cuernavaca Mexico and ask for the special rate.

Transportation

Travel Advice

Participants from some countries may need a VISA to enter Mexico, and in some cases this process maybe take much longer than one could imagine. Please allow enough time.

Reaching Cuernavaca from the Mexico City Airport

If you arrive at the Mexico City International Airport, after clearing customs, please follow the signs to the Buses Zone.

In the tickets counter there will be a sign which reads CUERNAVACA and it corresponds to a bus line called Pullman de Morelos with regular departures to Cuernavaca. They leave according to the schedule given in his page, and arrive at the Casino de la Selva bus terminal in downtown Cuernavaca. The bus costs 240 pesos (around US$12.00) and takes 1 hour 40 minutes to arrive to Cuernavaca.

Transportation between the hotels and the Mathematics Institute

In the mornings there will be transportation from the Hotels Racquet and GS to the Mathematics Institute and after the talks in the evenings, back form the Mathematics Institute to the Hotels GS and Racquet.
The minibus has 20 places and it will make two trips.

From Monday 7^th to Friday 11^th: Leaves Hotel Racquet at 8:30 and 9:00 hrs.

Leaves the Mathematics Institute making a short stop at Hotel GS in is way to the Hotel Racquet.
Monday 7^th: Leaves the Mathematics Institute at 19:00 and 19:30 hrs.
Tuesday 8^th and Wednesday 9^th: Leaves the Mathematics Institute at 18:30 and 19:00 hrs.
Thursday 10^th: Leaves the Mathematics Institute at 18:00 and 18:30 hrs.
