The
First Brazil-Mexico meeting on Singularities was held in Querétaro,
México on August 2013 as a satellite conference of the
Mathematical
Congress of the Americas edition 2013. Since its first edition, this meeting has evolved into an international event
scheduled to occur every two years and alternating its venue between Brazil and Mexico.
The aim of this conference is to create a common space for researchers in Singularity Theory and Foliation Theory, from both countries,
to discuss and present their recent progress in these areas.
In this occasion, and following the
Second Brazil-Mexico meeting on Singularities
held in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, in 2015, the third installment of this event will take place at the
Instituto de Matemáticas, UNAM, Unidad Cuernavaca, in Cuernavaca, México as a satellite conference of the
3rd PRIMA Congress 2017.
