- Flights to Mexico in January get full quickly, book your flight soon.
- Weather in Cuernavaca in January is very pleasant. Yet, it can be rather cool, specially in the Lectures Hall, since this is open air (have a look at http://www.matcuer.unam.mx/~singularities/palapa.html ) You can check the weather in Cuernavaca in http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/76726.html , but pay attention that it seems this Winter will be colder than usual, and our Institute is in the "coldest" part of Cuernavaca.
- ARRIVAL INFORMATION:
- There is complete information to this respect in our web page http://www.matcuer.unam.mx/~singularities/index.html
See particularly the sections about Transportation and Local Information.
- There is a direct coach service from the airport in Mexico City to Cuernavaca. The first bus leaves at 6:40 in the morning, and the last leaves at 11:30. In the web page we give full information about this, including a link to the web page of the company that gives this service. We advice you to check their time-table since this can change, specially if you are arriving very early in the morning or late by night.
- If you miss the last coach to Cuernavaca, we advice you to either spend the night in Mexico City (we suggest few hotels in our web page) or take an Airport taxi to Cuernavaca (should be about 80 USD)
- Make sure to CHANGE MONEY in the airport. You can do this also in Cuernavaca, but it is simpler to do it at the airport. You will need cash at least for transportation, for registering to the meeting and for living expenses for a few days (even if you are getting support from the organizers, this will take a few days).
- Once you arrive to the Bus Terminal in Cuernavaca, take a taxi from there to your hotel. This is easy, cheap and safe. Taxis in Cuernavaca do not have a taximeter, but they charge by "zones", so make sure to arrange the price before you begin. The cost should be around 30-40 pesos.
- ACCOMODATION:

- REGISTRATION:
- This will take place at the Tlaltenango hotel on Sundays 7th and 21st, from 16:00 to 21:00, or at the Mathematics Institute on week days. Notice however that the program of talks is rather tight, so we do ask you to make an effort and try to register on Sunday.

This information has just been updated in our web page. The program for the first week is definite (unless something strange happens), while those for the 2nd and 3th weeks might have few changes. There will be also a poster session the third week; information to this respect will be given later.
- MEALS:
- Breakfast will be at the hotels. Lunch and dinner during the first two weeks will be left for the participants to choose where they want to go (a list of possibilities will be distributed with your Welcome Packet when you register).
- During the third week, lunch will be served in the gardens of our Institute. Participants getting support for meals from the organizers will be given their meal tickets when they register. Otherwise, you can buy your meal tickets from us during registration and also during the week, but you must buy them in advance because we must know how many meals we need to order.
- WELCOME COCKTAIL, LE-FEST AND SO ON:
- There will be a Welcome cocktail for all registered participants on Monday 8th, following the last lecture.
- There will be also a cocktail and dinner on Wednesday 24, in celebration of the Birthday Anniversary of Le Dung Trang. Please buy your ticket beforehand, for we must know how many people will attend the dinner.
- There will be a closing party, with music, for all participants on Friday 26. This will start with lunch (for which you need a ticket), followed by music and dance.
