Resumen:
Conceptual and mathematical aspects of the Aharonov-Bohm effect are discussed. The main concern is a precise (mathematical) justification of the usual Hamiltonian used by physicist in 2D. A mechanism will be presented wich justifies (1) the nonzero magnetic potential outside the solenoid and (2) the choice of Dirichlet boundary conditions.
