Semblanza

 

Mi área de investigación es la Teoría de nudos y 3-variedades. Obtuve la licenciatura en matemáticas en la Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco y la maestría en el Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas. El doctorado lo realicé en la Universidad de California en Davis. En 2008 me doctoré con la tesis "Thin circle-valued Morse functions for knots in the 3-sphere", bajo la supervisión de la doctora Abigail Thompson. Cuando regresé a México fuí posdoctorante en el Instituto de Matemáticas CU y también en CIMAT.
